We are pleased to announce that
ticket sales for
ClogCon 2016 will go on sale on Monday, March 7th at 1900 GMT. Here is some information about the event which you can also find on our
updated website.
ClogCon is one of the premier 3-day Warmachine/Hordes conventions that takes place in Europe. It is also the home of the
European Invitational, where winners of the most prestigious events around Europe are invited to come and compete against one another. Attendees at ClogCon can try to enter the Invitational by winner the
Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) which takes place at the con.
The biggest news about
ClogCon for 2016 is that we are moving the event into a proper convention-style hotel where players can stay in rooms directly attached to the playing areas. It is the most inclusive and comfortable way to game! Here are some details about what we have planned:
EVENT DETAILS
Date: November 11-13
Location: Hotel Schiphol (right next to Schiphol airport in Amsterdam!)
Ticket cost: €70 for all 3 days, which includes lunch each day
Room cost: €60 per person per night for a twin (€40 for a triple; €37 for a quad), which includes breakfast each day
So after your ticket and room costs, all that’s left to pay for is your dinners and drinks.
CLOGCON 2016 SCHEDULEWe are particularly pleased at the event schedule that we have put together. This was based on feedback that we received last year. We are giving everyone a chance to compete as much as possible if they wish. Players can drop from morning events if they desire to join in afternoon events. We also give people out of contention some fun events to try out. Plus plenty of team tournaments added based on your demand!
For less serious competitors, we also offer fun-based tournaments. And for this year we are expanding our casual play section so that people who just want to come and relax at the con will feel very welcome. We’ll help you find pick up games and also start small Scrambles (informal, short tournaments) whenever there are enough players interested in playing them.
